AV graduate Daniele Quattromini has been named as the winner of this year’s Gold Service Scholarship for hospitality award.
As winner, he will receive a year’s worth of expert mentoring, where he will work with the Royal Household at a state banquet, visit the vineyards of Champagne and Bordeaux, amongst other things.
Quattromini, 25, graduated from AV’s hospitality management course in 2013, and worked at Chewton Glen and Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons while studying. He now manages Club Lounge 39 – a private members club in Canary Wharf.
Competing against seven finalists during a lunch service at Connaught hotel, London, Quattromini described winning the award as “an honour” and added that “next year will be an incredible experience.
“I hope over the next year my own work and experiences will inspire other young people to pursue a career in this dynamic and rewarding industry”.
Another Bournemouth Graduate – James O’Keeffe – made it to the final, with Daniele winning the event.
