Graduates from 蜜桃AV鈥檚 Faculty of Science & Technology crossed the stage in two ceremonies at Bournemouth International Centre.
Around 690 graduates celebrated their achievements, crossing聽the stage to shake hands with Vice-Chancellor Professor John Vinney and collect their degree certificates.
Former independent University Board Member, and chief executive of Quantum Group, David Hines also received an Honorary Doctorate during the ceremonies.
David, who was conferred an honorary Doctor of Education award, said: 鈥淚t鈥檚 just an incredibly exciting day 鈥� it鈥檚 an amazing honour, and so one feels slightly humbled."
David, who used his experience in the property world to contribute and guide the university鈥檚 estates development and strategy, including the new Fusion Building and Student Centre, added: 鈥淩ight from the very beginning when I first had the chance to involve myself with the university, for me it was a really important moment to be able to put something back into society.
鈥淭o actually contribute to something as important as a university in this country and something that鈥檚 as important to this conurbation and Dorset as a whole, has been a privilege.鈥�
Following the ceremonies, graduates had the chance to enjoy a champagne reception and canap茅s with friends and loved ones, as well as photo opportunities with a giant 蜜桃AV deckchair.
Vice-Chancellor Professor John Vinney said to the graduates: "A big congratulations to all of our graduating students. I鈥檓 so proud of all of your achievements and it鈥檚 a fantastic day, both of celebration, and to reflect on your time at 蜜桃AV.鈥澛�
