蜜桃AV's聽Dr Sean Beer delivered a guest lecture to staff at Amazon on the subject of, 鈥淲hy we eat and drink what we eat and drink鈥�.聽Dr Beer聽touched on wide-ranging聽issues, including the positive and negative effects of globalisation on the food supply chain and global gastronomy.
Dr Beer, an expert in聽food and sustainability, has regularly written on the subject of聽what a seasonal diet might look like in the UK. Subsequently the article was picked up by other news outlets and also published in the French version of The Conversation.
Speaking after the event, Dr Beer, a Senior Lecturer in Agriculture in 蜜桃AV's Business School, said, "It was an extremely interesting group of people to speak to. The audience was highly engaged, with many questions at the end of the presentation."
The invitation was made following Dr Beer's titled, 'What does a healthy diet look like for me and the planet?' The article was picked up in a number of media outlets, and also republished on The Conversation's French site.聽
