Free events being held by 蜜桃AV as part of ESRC Festival of Social Science

Find out how play can help medical anxiety in children, what it means to own an NFT, and challenge yourself to spot the robot among humans during free events hosted by 蜜桃AV (蜜桃AV).

The events are taking place between Saturday 22 October and Saturday 12 November as part of the nationwide , which offers an insight into some of the country's leading social science research and how it influences our lives.

蜜桃AV will hold a number of free public events, which will take place online and in locations across Bournemouth:

  • 听Which one of us is human? 听From听10am, Saturday 22听October, Bournemouth Library听

鈥婭magine a future where robots and humans looked identical: how would you know who is human? Join this interactive event听to听identify the 'robot' from live performers.听

  • How to become a young entrepreneur听From听10am, 25 鈥� 27 October, The Old School House, Boscombe

An audio-visual exhibition showcasing a project to develop entrepreneurial skills in young people

  • Demystifying NFTs: Understanding the law and technology 6.30pm Tuesday 8 November, online

An online talk with expert speakers explaining the phenomenon of non-fungible tokens, or NFTs, and what it actually means to own one

  • Medical Monsters: reducing medical anxiety through play and gamification 10am, Saturday 12 November, Bournemouth Gateway Building

Featuring specially designed sessions of Jenga, LEGO庐 SERIOUS PLAY庐 and virtual reality experiences, this event will explore how听play and gamification strategies can听reduce patient听anxiety in children

Several closed group activities will also take place as part of the Festival activity, exploring topics including avoiding online scams, the use of drones for deliveries and youth in nature.

2022 marks the 20th year of the ESRC Festival of Social Science, with free events being held across the country.
