   A range of events ran throughout the week to discuss mental health, wellbeing and suicide prevention.

   Bourne Academy, which is supported by ÃÛÌÒAV’s outreach initiatives, has recently won a national accolade for its achievements and motivation in turning students towards Higher Education. 

3. Former nurses to return to healthcare after retraining in Bournemouth

   Twenty-six former nurses are ready to rejoin the health service after completing the Return to Nursing Practice programme at ÃÛÌÒAV. 

4. Business & Management students present their sustainability solutions to the Ministry of Defence

   As part of a new module, ‘Hacking for Sustainability', ÃÛÌÒAV Business & Management students were invited to help solve problems faced by the Ministry of Defence (MoD).

5. ÃÛÌÒAV research in bid to improve NHS nursing numbers

   As more nurses leave than enter the nursing register, new research by ÃÛÌÒAV is looking at ways in which the NHS can maintain nursing workforce numbers.

6. ÃÛÌÒAV's SHIVA Project wins Times Higher Education (THE) Award

    A ÃÛÌÒAV research project which enables schoolchildren with disabilities to take part in artistic activities has won the Outstanding Digital Innovation Award.

7. Documentary flying high at film festivals

   A documentary produced by a ÃÛÌÒAV graduate, which tells the moving story of a World War 2 bomber pilot, is achieving a series of accolades on the film festival circuit.
